Today, I went Down the Islands to celebrate the birthdays of two of my lovely friends. Committed to this challenge, I brought my camera along to capture some landscape shots at some point in the day. Last March, I challenged myself to use my 50mm lens for a blog post, as I don't often use it. Funnily enough, later in the year one of my favourite lenses stopped working so needless to say, I’ve actually been using my 50mm lens a lot nowadays.
I’m glad I brought my camera today as it allowed me to pause, observe, and frame the beauty surrounding me. These captured moments will serve as a cherished memento of a beautiful day spent with friends celebrating life and love. With the day's festivities—including indulging in many prosecco toasts and delectable aloe pies, samosas, and roti—now behind me, and the lingering effects of the boat's motion still palpable, it's time to get ready for bed. I hope you enjoy these images!
You are truly a gifted photographer. Your eye for beauty is the closest thing to perfection that I have seen. I hope to come to one of your exhibits one day
I'm glad you brought your camera too - These are hauntingly beautiful shots
